Project: Discovering the Bishop of London’s Palace, HLF Round 2 application
Fulham Palace has over 1,300 years of history and has gradually been restored over the last decade. ‘Discovering the Bishop of London’s Palace’ is a new phase in Fulham Palace Trust’s vision to restore a further 40% of the building and 50% of the gardens including restoration of the quadrangle, installation of site-wide interpretation, new exhibitions, woodland management, a community archaeology project and other community learning activities together with a greater range of volunteering and heritage training opportunities. I have been working as an associate of CCN as lead consultant on a Marketing Audit, Marketing Plan and Business Plan for the Trust which will support the HLF Round 2 application for £1.9 million. The Business Plan will also be used as the Trust’s Business Plan from 2017 to 2022 and has included a wider review of the operations of the site including the on-site café, functions’ business and retail to ensure the long-term sustainability of the historic buildings and gardens.
