Project Description: Annual visitor survey & front-end and formative visitor research

I worked with the Head of Marketing at the Horniman to develop and roll out an annual visitor survey over 7 years to collect baseline and then annual data which was used to report back to the DCMS and other funders.

During this time I also undertook focus groups with teachers, lecturers and the community to test ideas for four textile exhibitions the Museum was proposing, undertook formative testing of what is now the hugely successful music gallery and tested the public interface of a collections management project to enable visitors to have access to collections on-line. Marilyn Scott, one of my associates was also involved in the visitor research for the music gallery and collections management project.
